Silent Core by L4byrinth Silent Core by L4byrinth
I first started on photoshop doing background effects and elements (topleft pipes, topright organic/flesh thingy and center spherical device). Then I've done the lightning on paper. However, my drawing really doesn't look like lightning, Ive just played alot with effects in photoshop. Then it took me 2 hours ,after scanning my work, to get what I had expected about blending it into the background. I know the lightning appears to be a bit choppy, blame my crappy scanner...

-I didn't use any external graphic, unless the digitalized drawing which I have created.
-I used some brushes which came with Photoshop. Also, I've created brushes especially for this work and they won't be used in anything else.

Nice!
I really like the lightning, as well as the many subtle things you put in here... The lighting is also very well done. It's blended well, it looks like the parts of the background you can't see as well are covered by dark clouds. If that's what you were going for, then kudos to you.

In fact, the black holes represent how much my work is well categorized in "abstract"

Thank you :D
Yeah it was meant to be this way. They weren't purposed for "hiding" but they were part of the whole thing before I designed the pipes/sphere/organic. I just avoided placing them on clouds.
